hey, i'm ansh / अंश (say it like "un-shh")
born in uttar pradesh, grew up in new delhi. got into science thanks to the animated spiderman series—blame spider powers for my obsession with genes.
back in india, did a bunch of street theatre (nukkad natak), natya yoga, and even some yoga competitions. also kinda obsessed with taking photos, maps, and flags.
moved to the u.s. at 17. now researching gene networks, huntington's disease, and how dna folds in 3d space. i also dabble in physics and math, still snap lots of photos, and geek out on maps and flags (or "vexillology," if you're fancy).
